Bucharest September 2013

Brian and I went to Romania for a long weekend to support England in the second and last of the 2013 FIRA Grand Prix Sevens series.  Bucharest was not what I expected; it has a Parisian feel to it and the people are very friendly, most speaking more than passable English.

The England Sevens team were crowned European champions after being unbeaten throughout the tournament.  There are plans to repeat the tournament next year and diary permitting I would be keen to come back to Romania and perhaps explore more of the country.
